Services held for Milford man killed in tanker crash

A wake and funeral were held Monday for a Milford man killed in a traffic accident.

Fred Held, 33, was one of three people who died in Friday's crash on I-95 in East Lyme. He was driving back from Mohegan Sun when an oil tanker crashed into his car. Held, the driver of the tanker and another motorist were killed.

Held was CEO of a mortgage company and also worked as a bartender at Baker's Bar and Grille in Milford.

The wake and funeral were held at the Smith and Sefcik Funeral Home on Broad Street in Milford.
