Manslaughter case against Bpt. man continued
The case of a Monroe man accused of driving drunk and running over a Bridgeport toddler last July 4th was continued Tuesday.
Clayton Luf, 41, will face charges next month in order to give police time to reconstruct the accident they say led to the death of 20-month-old Kayanah Brayboy.
Police say Luf was driving with a blood alcohol level of three times the legal limit when he swerved in front of Bridgeport's Connecticut Food Market, pinning the girl underneath his 2001 Mercedes. Police say Brayboy died six days later.
Luf faces several charges including second-degree manslaughter, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and DUI. He will be back in court November 20.
