Police probe suspicious incident in Norwalk

Police are searching for a man following a suspicious incident that took place in Norwalk Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, two 15-year-old girls got off the school bus at West Cedar Street and North Taylor Avenue when a man in a white pickup truck beeped his horn and motioned for them to come over.

Officers say the girls did not approach the truck. However, police say the driver then pulled into a nearby parking lot and again beeped his horn and motioned for the girls. One of the teens then called her father.

When the girl?s father arrived and approached the man in the pickup, police say the driver took off.

Anyone with information is asked to call Norwalk police at 203-854-3051.
