Moms spread word about suspicious man at mall
Mothers from a local playgroup say they want other moms to know about a suspicious man they have spotted twice near the play area at Milford's Westfield Connecticut Post Mall.
Felicia Murray says a man came out of nowhere, lurked around the children and kept looking at her son. She says he then hid inside a nearby store. Murray says she confronted the man, then called mall security. Officers stopped him, but then let him go, she says.
The moms are taking to the Internet to spread the word on their playgroup's blog. Murray and the other moms in the playgroup are staying away from the play area for now.
?It didn't sit well with me, I tell you that right now. As soon as I left, I'm not lying, I was sick for three days,? Murray says.
After writing a letter to the mall, Murray received a letter that read, "Our comprehensive security plan includes uniformed and plainclothes personnel, foot and vehicle patrols, electronic/technical surveillance, hiring off-duty police officers, and working closely with Milford police to continually monitor and re-evaluate security protocols."
