South Norwalk shooting shakes up neighborhood
Police in South Norwalk are searching for the suspect in a shooting that has left residents shaken up.
Police say the shooter rode up on a bike, shot the victim in the leg and then pedaled off around 8 p.m. They say the victim was sitting on a concrete block when he was shot. It happened on South Main Street near Concord Street, according to police.
Residents say they?re scared to walk around their neighborhood and keep to themselves because of violence in the area.
?Well, you got a lot of kids running around on streets, some with nothing to do,? resident Larry Parker says of a possible reason for the violence.
Some neighbors say the shooting could be drug-related. Police are still investigating.
