Floating art, antiques gallery docked in Greenwich

A $30 million yacht filled with artwork, fine jewelry and antiques will be docked in Greenwich this weekend and open to patrons.

Twenty-eight dealers have set up shop inside the yacht, which is the fourth largest privately-owned yacht in America. The dealers have come from as far as Texas and even Europe. They said a three-floor floating gallery is a unique idea that will hopefully pay off with their customers.

?I think apart from the fun of coming onboard the boat and being entertained royally? I think they're rather flattered that we take the time to come and see them instead of waiting for them to come and see us,? Alan Rubin of Paris? Pelham Galleries said.

The yacht will be docked behind the RBS building on Steamboat Road until Sunday.

There is no entrance fee to see the goods, but patrons must register at the event or at www.expoships.com.Related Information: SeaFair -The Fine Art Yacht
