10-year-old fair, 2 adults critical after being hit by SUV
A 10-year-boy who was struck by an SUV in Stamford Tuesday is in fair condition.
The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Long Ridge Road. According to police, Stephen Bermudez was hit by a 2003 Honda while crossing Long Ridge at Roxbury Road.
Police say Bermudez's mother, Celinda, and another woman, Mercy Owusy, were also hit. They remain in serious condition at Stamford Hospital.
The SUV was being driven by Roseann Marciano of Somers, New York. Police say there are no citations at this point.
