Wilton man pleads guilty to selling HGH

A Wilton man has pleaded guilty to selling human growth hormone over the Internet.
Alan Blair, 52, is the only Connecticut resident on a list of seven people charged with selling HGH or steroids over the Web. Officials say he was a middleman in the operation, using a Web site for transactions between November 2004 until April 2007.
Authorities are warning Blair's customers, some of whom are Connecticut residents, that they can expect further investigation.
"Anyone in Connecticut who purchased steroids from the individuals we've charged can expect a knock on the door in the future if we haven't done so already," said United States Attorney Kevin O'Connor. "We'd be particularly concerned if one of those individuals was a coach or a teacher, or if one of those individuals was a minor."
