Stratford police say man approached kids at bus stop
Children at a Stratford school bus stop got a scare Friday morning after police say a suspicious man was spotted near them.
The Flood Middle School students were waiting at the corner of an intersection and police say a man in a van was parked within a few feet of them. When the bus arrived, the man started walking in the direction of the bus. The children ran onto the bus and told the driver.
Stratford Public Schools sent home a letter to parents outlining the incident.
None of the students were harmed. Police are looking for the man involved.
