Bus route changes make for hectic commute in Bpt.

It was a busy and somewhat confusing start to the work week for some people who rely on the Greater Bridgeport Transit Authority.

To coincide with the opening of the new $23 million transportation hub on Water Street, the authority made some changes to a few bus routes.

The director says routes that weren?t being used were eliminated, while stops riders suggested would be helpful were added. The authority also changed the timing on some stops to allow for better connections at the terminal.

Some riders say they just want it back to the way it was, claiming the changes are too confusing. However, others are hoping the modifications will be better for the commute in the long run.
