Bridgeport shooting leaves family with questions

Police say 21-year-old Maurice Allen was gunned down inside his Bridgeport home Friday and his family and neighbors are left trying to make sense of the murder.
Police found Allen?s body in his basement apartment amd closed off the corner of Central Ave. and Ogden Street Extension to investigate.
Witnesses say they heard gunshots around 3:30 p.m.
Allen?s family and friends described him as quiet, loved and a hard worker. Mourners set up a makeshift memorial with balloons and flowers feet from where Allen was killed.
Bridgeport police say two people were seen running from the scene moments after gunshots went off. Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call Bridgeport police at 203-576-7707.
