Man accused of parking lot assault changes plea

A man accused of sexually assaulting, robbing and threatening a woman in front of her children in a Stamford parking garage changed his plea to guilty Thursday.
Gary Fricker, 55, says he's guilty of the crimes involved in the October 2006 incident. He originally pleaded not guilty, but changed his plea in court before a judge at the Stamford Superior Courthouse.
While his attorney says his client doesn't agree with all the details surrounding the case, Fricker says he's guilty of all the charges.
Three days after the attack, Fricker was caught in New York after he led police on a high-speed chase.
Fricker is set to be sentenced November 6 and is expected to receive 20 years behind bars.
