Hundreds bid farewell to Bridgeport toddler
Hundreds of mourners gathered Friday to pay their final respects to the Bridgeport toddler who was struck by a car and eventually died. Twenty-month-old Kayana Brayboy was struck by an out-of-control driver while walking out of the Connecticut Food Mart on the Fourth of July. Brayboy had been in critical condition at Yale-New Haven Hospital since the crash. She died Tuesday morning after being on life support for six days. Some of the mourners placed pink balloons in front of the Holy Christ Church on Noble Avenue. Brayboy's mother said pink was her daughter?s favorite color. The driver, 41-year-old Clayton Luf, of Monroe, has been charged with breach of peace and interfering with an officer in connection with the accident.
