Stamford teen linked to WWE Internet posting
A Stamford teen is behind the Internet post announcing the death of a wrestler?s wife before the body was discovered, police said.According to investigators, Chris Benoit strangled his wife, suffocated his 7-year old son and then hanged himself. About 14 hours before police in Georgia discovered the bodies, the 19-year-old posted the announcement on Wikipedia.com. Stamford police said they were able to track the teen down through his Internet provider address. Police said the teen told them he did not have inside information about the deaths. They are calling the time of the post and the deaths a strange coincidence.Stamford Police Department's Captain Richard Conklin called the teen an "avid wrestling fan."The teen, who has no link to Stamford-based World Wrestling Entertainment where Benoit worked, will not face charges, according to police.
