Drag racing may be cause of Norwalk car crash

Witnesses say a car crash at the entrance to Norwalk?s Calf Pasture Beach Friday may have been the result of drag racing.
Police say the accident happened around 9:45 p.m.
A witness said he heard two cars speeding down the road. He said at one point the car was perpendicular to a tree. The car then flipped over and hit the tree.
Police say the driver suffered just minor injuries. Shattered glass, broken bark, and a crumpled cone sit where there used to be a fire hydrant.
Police say they arrested 17-year old Brian Marquez of Norwalk, charging him with traveling too fast, and failure to drive in an established lane. The speed limit here is 25 miles per hour.
