Relatives and friends said tearful final goodbyes Thursday to a Milford woman who was killed in a four-car wreck.
State police say 23-year-old Michelle Leidy, whose best friend was in the passenger seat, lost control of her car on the Wilbur Cross Parkway in Orange Saturday and hit another vehicle. Leidy died, and another driver from Vermont was also killed in the wreck. Leidy's friend suffered critical injuries.
Mourners gathered at St. Gabriel Church remembered Leidy as someone who lived life to the fullest. "I'm devastated. She was just so sweet - inside and out ... sweet, kind, lovable," said Pat DelMonico.
Leidy was buried in Milford.
