Norwalk teen party turns violent

Norwalk police are investigating after one person was stabbed during a teen party on Friday.

Police say several shots were fired but no one was injured by the gunfire.

The violence, police say, was likely caused by someone who was denied access to a birthday party, held in a rented room at the Fraternal Order of Eagles on Mott Avenue.

Investigators found 11 bullet casings, drugs and a bulletproof vest at the scene. There is no word on the condition of the person who was stabbed.

The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call (203) 854-3011.
