Stamford residents threaten to sue over flooding

Residents of one Stamford apartment complex are threatening to sue building management over recent flooding problems.
April's nor'easter flooded the complex's garage, damaging a number of cars. One resident says she is angry because management never warned people that the building is in a flood zone. She says the water was so deep that it was up to the steering wheel of her car. She also says residents received letters stating they should not move their cars from the garage. Now, a number of residents are driving rental cars.
Some residents have organized meetings to discuss possible legal action. The building's management could not be reached for comment.
