Bridgeport police investigate double shooting

Bridgeport police are searching for the gunmen of a double shooting Sunday. Police say the incidents took place Saturday in the north end of the city. The first shooting happened in afternoon at the intersection of Earl Avenue and Robert Street. Mayor John Fabrizi (D-Bridgeport) says the second shooting took place near the first one. Authorities say both men were transported to St. Vincent's Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Fabrizi says neither victim was able to provide authorities with much information. However, police believe the two shooting were related and are trying to see if a third shooting, which occurred Friday morning, is also connected.
