Bridgeport School District may probe fainting incident

Bridgeport School District officials may further investigate an incident that left a seventh-grader hospitalized from playing a dangerous game.
Seventh-grader Joshua Burgos was rushed to Bridgeport Hospital Tuesday after hitting his head on a bathroom floor at Longfellow School. Burgos says he and two classmates were playing a "fainting game" when he lost consciousness and collapsed.
Burgos was released from the hospital later in the day. The two other students have been suspended.
School district officials say they're waiting to receive written results of the investigation by Longfellow's principal. They will then decide if a further investigation is needed.
