Two teens arrested in deadly Norwalk shooting
Two teenagers have been arrested in connection to Thursday's deadly shooting in Norwalk.
The shooting happened just before 2 p.m. on Grove Street. Bridgeport resident Edgar Sanchez was killed after being shot several times. Norwalk Police Chief Harry Rilling identified the suspects as 16-year-old Victor Smalls, of Norwalk, and 17-year-old Jimmie Kave Jr., of Waterbury. Authorities believe the victim and the suspects exchanged words before the shooting.
The two suspects, who are also classified as gang members by police, were found soon after the shooting. They are each being held on $500,000 bond.
