Police need help in solving two armed robberies in Wilton

Wilton police are asking for the public?s help in solving two armed robberies in the same section of town this week.
The first robbery occurred earlier in the week at a Chase Bank on Danbury Road. Police say in that robbery the suspect held up the bank at gunpoint. The second robbery occurred Thursday at the Mobil station down the road from the bank. Police say in that incident the suspect had a knife and threatened the gas station employee.
Authorities say the suspect in latest robbery removed the cash register drawer, taking approximately $200. Police later found the drawer in a wooded area near the station.
