A jury found Harry Gonzalez guilty Thursday of three counts in the murder of a 75-year-old retired teacher in Stamford. A Stamford Superior Court jury found Gonzalez guilty of felony murder, robbery in the first degree and kidnapping. Joanne Trautwein was murdered in her Stamford home in October of 2005. Her roommate at the time, Barbara Kos, testified about being guarded with a pillow over her face while the incident unfolded. Gonzalez?s ex-girlfriend, who was present when the murder took place, also testified against him as part of a plea deal. The verdict came on the first full day of deliberations, following a seven-day trial. Gonzalez is scheduled for sentencing on April 20.
