Bomb Squad called to Stratford neighborhood after explosive dispute
A man is under arrest after a possible explosive threatened a Stratford neighborhood Sunday. Police say they apprehended 37-year-old Michael Beaulieu around 10 a.m. for violating a protective order against his girlfriend. When they arrived at the Clarendon Street home they found two tube-shaped explosive devices and were forced to call the bomb squad. Police say they aren't sure what type of explosives were used and plan to run a chemical analysis. The charges against Beaulieu include violating a protective order and possession of a controlled substance, as drugs were also found. Residents of the quiet neighborhood say waking up to a bomb squad wasn?t exactly the way they planned to start their day.
