Male I-95 travelers in Darien testy over portable toilets

Men traveling north on I-95 might want to plan stops more carefully, since the Darien men?s rooms have been closed for almost two weeks due to renovations. A spokesperson for the Connecticut Department of Transportation says the work occurs every few years as part of the state?s capital improvement plan. While the renovations are underway, portable toilets have been set up. However, some say that they are not happy about having to go to the bathroom outside, especially in winter. The renovation work is expected to be completed this week, with the bathroom reopening Friday morning.
