Weston residents see red over stop sign spray painters

Weston residents and officials say they will not tolerate the recent rash of vandalism in the town.
Residents say the vandalism is getting out of hand and they want those responsible brought to justice. Police say the vandals have been leaving their mark on signs and statues. Weston First Selectman Woody Bliss says a favorite target for the vandals has been stop signs.
Police say when the vandals are caught, they could be facing criminal mischief charges. So far, the town has had to replace 40 stop signs valued at $47 each.
