Weston police warn neighbors about string of strange break-ins

For the second time in two months, Weston police are warning neighbors about a string of strange break-ins.

Last month, Weston police caught the man they say broke into several homes around town. Now, they say they are looking for the person who broke into a garage on West Branch Road and stole the tires off a Bentley Continental. The car?s owner says the tire rims alone are estimated at $10,000. Investigators say the garage was unlocked and the homeowners were sleeping at the time of the break-in.

Detectives are working with police in Westport and Easton because both communities reported similar incidents.
