Bridgeport pet owner offers reward for info on finding puppy thief
The owner of 5-week-old English bulldog puppies made a desperate plea to the public Friday for help in finding the person who snatched his pets.
Henry Valler is offering a $300,000 to $500,000 reward for help in catching the person who broke into his Bridgeport condo and took the purebred puppies. Valler, who is a dog groomer at Head to Tail in Fairfield, says the puppies need human care and still cannot walk well. Valler's boss says losing the puppies is like someone stealing Valler's son or daughter. Each puppy is worth about $2,500, but Valler says it is not about the money. He is asking anyone with information to contact either himself, the Head to Tail shop or Bridgeport police.
