Bridgeport triple murder suspect knew his victims, police say

The Bridgeport man accused of gunning down three people in front of children went before a judge Tuesday.

Kadir Babiso, 46, is charged with murdering two men and one woman Monday at the Fairfield Garden Apartments in Bridgeport. Police say children in the apartment witnessed the murders and provided vital information that led to Babiso's arrest.

According to police, the Ethiopian-born suspect knew the victims. One victim owned a business where Babiso used to work, and another victim was a former co-worker. Babiso allegedly has issues with alcohol and has a previous conviction for reckless endangerment.

He is being held on $5 million bond.Related InformationBridgeport Police - 203-576-7624 or 203-576-7917
