Police hope photo will help ID suspect in Bridgeport robbery

Police in Bridgeport hope a surveillance camera photo will help them ID a man accused of holding up a handicapped individual at a Chase ATM. The male victim told police the suspect followed him into an ATM last week. The victim withdrew his cash, and that's when police say the suspect put what may have been a gun to the man's back. Police say the robber got away with $400. Anyone with information is asked to call Bridgeport police at 203-576-7707.
Meantime, police say to avoid being a victim always use an ATM that's well lit, look behind you to make sure you're not being followed and never let anyone in who appears to be fumbling for a card.
