Debate continues in Fairfield over naming of its new high school
Fairfield's new high school may have solved the overcrowding problem, but it's created another dilemma--one month into the school year and it still doesn't have a name. The school's Naming Committee says it has received more than 2,000 suggestions from the community. Most of the people News 12 Connecticut spoke with hope to call the new school Roger Ludlowe and keep the old school the same. Others suggest naming after a local hero. The committee will present the suggestions to the Board of Education at Tuesday night's meeting. The board may or may not vote Tuesday night, but they are expected to make a decision by the end of the month.
