Greenwich H.S. may use breathalyzers on students
Greenwich High School officials are considering a controversial idea to counter underage drinking. They're thinking about using breathalyzers on their students.
A group called the Greenwich Coalition to Combat Underage Drinking bought four of the hand-held meters last spring and wants to let the school use them at dances and other social events.
However, the school is still working with the police to figure out how often or even if the breathalyzers can legally be used.
