Bridgeport family welcomes home soldier from Iraq

It's a homecoming a Bridgeport family has been anticipating since the beginning of the year. Specialist Esteban Estrada, 24, has been overseas since February stationed in Kuwait and Iraq. Before that, his unit was on standby at Fort Hood in Texas. Estrada just arrived back home in Bridgeport Thursday night.

Estrada is a combat engineer in the Army's 4th Infantry Division. His unit was responsible for guarding an oil refinery about 35 miles north of Baghdad.

While Estrada is happy to be back with his family, he says his thoughts are with those still serving.

After four and a half years, Estrada is leaving the Army. His tour of duty is up and he will be discharged in the next couple of months.
