Stamford chopper guru turning heads across the nation

A southwestern Connecticut company is producing one-of-a-kind rides that are turning heads both locally and internationally. At Boss Hoss Motorcycles in Stamford, the Vetti family has taken the art of building custom bikes to a whole new level. Their V8-powered choppers typically cost tens of thousands of dollars, but the Vettis' latest innovation, the "Pro Stock Chopper," has an asking price of $95,000.The bike has a whopping 478 horsepower, and with a nitrous oxide booster, that number shoots up to 553. Apparently, nobody has taken the bike to its top speed, but without the nitrous oxide, the bike can go from zero to 60 in 2.5 seconds. The bike is also one of only nine in the U.S. chosen for one of the largest motor shows in the world in Essen, Germany, which will take place over Thanksgiving.Click here for more information on Boss Hoss Motorcycles.
