The 42nd annual Newtown parade honors America's workforce

Thousands of people lined Main Street in Newtown for the 42nd annual Labor Day parade Monday. This year's theme: "Newtown's Faith in the Future."It was back in 1882 when union workers had the same kind of faith and started the Labor Day holiday as a celebration of their accomplishments.And so the community's marching bands, students, civic groups and of course Milford's own Pyramid Shriners Motor Patrol spent their day off honoring America's workforce.
