Man arrested for jumping off Norwalk bridge

A New York man who jumped off a Norwalk bridge is unharmed, but under arrest. Police say 37-year-old Christopher Pennino from Huntington was charged with breach of peace and released on a $100 bond.

Police say he jumped off the Stroffolino Bridge on Washington Street and swam to Veterans Park where he was arrested just before 1 a.m. Saturday morning.

According to police, Pennino was drunk and may have done it as a dare.
