Third annual United Ride and Beach Rally

There was a loud roar of motorcycles in several southwestern Connecticut communities on Sunday. About 1,500 motorcyclists rode together from Norwalk to Seaside Park in Bridgeport. It's all part of the Third Annual CT United Ride Parade and Beach Rally.

The event is organized by the Fairfield County Labor Council and raises money for the Connecticut firefighters and police emergency funds.

The motorcyclists drove 60 miles through 10 different towns. Organizers hope to raise more than 40,000.

Organizers also honored Army Private First Class Wilfredo Perez. The soldier from Norwalk died in Iraq. He rode with his father in the rally last year.
