Bridgeport temp agency closes, leaves employees without paychecks

Over 100 employees of a Bridgeport temp agency were supposed to be paid Wednesday, but when they arrived to pick up their checks, there were no checks and no answers.Task Force Management gave its employees no warning, closing the doors of their Main Street office Thursday afternoon. News 12 Connecticut spoke with the office manager, who said the company had gone bankrupt and was forced to close its doors. She said no other information was available, except that the issue was in the hands of the company trustees, and that everyone will eventually get paid.The state attorney general's office is currently investigating.
