Police identify body found on Shea Island

Police have released the identity of the body found on Norwalk's Shea Island last weekend. They say the body is that of 45-year-old Sean Daly of Quintard Avenue in Norwalk. Daly's decomposed body was discovered Saturday by kayakers on the island located off the coast of Norwalk. His body was found just under a grove of trees near a kayak filled with food and other supplies.An autopsy has been performed, but the medical examiner's office is withholding the results pending a toxicology report. Police said they do not suspect foul play.
