Feds search Branford home for clues

(08/07/03) BRANFORD - Federal investigators spent Thursday searching a Branford home. It is possible that the search may be related to the investigation of the explosion inside a Yale classroom several months ago.

The FBI and Connecticut State Police were on the scene on Howard Avenue, searching a trailer for undisclosed reasons. Branford authorities and the U.S. attorney's office will only say that the search is related to a federal investigation. However, there is speculation that the search may be related to the explosion that rocked a Yale classroom in May.

Neighbors commented on the man who lives in the trailer, saying that he was a very quiet person who kept to himself, and refrained from speaking to neighbors when they greeted him.
