Did President Bush mislead the public?

(07/20/03) NORWALK - There's been a lot of discussion recently about what's become known as the Iraq intelligence controversy. It has many southwestern Connecticut residents taking another look at the events leading up to the war with Iraq, particularly the words and actions of President Bush.

Questions are arising over whether the war was sold to the American people based on misleading information. Many southwestern Connecticut residents feel President Bush wasn't completely honest with the public while others feel the job had to be done and believe Bush made the right decision.

Professor Donald Greenberg, an associate professor of politics at Fairfield University, says President Bush is facing what some consider to be a public relations nightmare simply because some of his pre-war tactics are coming back to bite him.

Greenburg also said he doesn't think the situation in Iraq is going to be resolved anytime soon.
