Lieberman makes it official in Stamford

(01/13/03) STAMFORD - Family and friends cheered Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman as he announced his candidacy for president in 2004. Current and former students from Lieberman's old stomping ground, Stamford High School felt a little extra local pride as he returned to his roots to make the most important announcement of his political career.
