Scarlett Lewis, mother of Newtown victim Jesse Lewis, spreads message of forgiveness

The mother of a young boy killed in the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown is spreading a message of forgiveness.
Scarlett Lewis, mother of 6-year-old Jesse Lewis who died during the Newtown shootings, is traveling around the world trying to help others heal from trauma and anger.
The grieving mother, who is now an author, speaker and healer, says it is her life mission to take what she calls "Jesse's Message" anywhere it can be heard.
"Forgiveness is probably the key to the healing in my journey," she says." If we were told that by forgiving that we would reap so many benefits for ourselves, that making the choice to forgive would allow us to move forward in life without anger, then I think that we would be much more likely to do it."
She recently had a speaking engagement in Milford. Her next speaking engagements are in Germany and France, and she vows to keep going from there.
Lewis has also established the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation.
