The annual Black Rock Day parade took place in Bridgeport Sunday.
This year's Black Rock Day theme was "Homegrown in Black Rock."
Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman, who marched in the parade, said that it celebrates the community's diversity and culture. Wyman also said that it's exciting when people work together no matter who they are or what they look like.
In addition to the parade, Black Rock Day included a 5K race, an all-you-can-eat breakfast, the seventh annual bed race and a festival.
