Henry Cartagena fights for life after being hit by a car while walking in Bridgeport

A man is fighting for his life after being hit when a car and truck collided.
The crash happened near the corner of Barnum Avenue and Elizabeth Street Thursday afternoon.
Officials say 47-year-old Henry Cartagena was walking when he was struck by a minivan that flew onto a sidewalk after colliding with a pickup truck and then crashed into a building.
Cartagena's family says his condition has worsened today. He has been transferred from Bridgeport Hospital to Yale-New Haven.
Police say that at this point, neither the driver of the minivan nor the driver of the truck are facing charges in connection with the accident. The drivers weren't seriously injured in the crash.
