UConn to raise tuition 6.5 percent

UConn's board of trustees has unanimously approved a new budget and it includes a 6.5 percent tuition increase. School officials say tuition costs will jump about $1,000 a year for in-state students.

UConn to raise tuition 6.5 percent
UConn's board of trustees has unanimously approved a new budget and it includes a 6.5 percent tuition increase.
School officials say tuition costs will jump about $1,000 a year for in-state students. 
Out-of-state students will pay about $2,200 more per year.
The budget also includes nearly $92 million in financial aid.
