Report: Clive Higgins to be indicted for role in Bridgeport police beating caught on camera

The third Bridgeport police officer involved in a brutal beating caught on camera is reportedly not willing to accept a plea deal.

The Connecticut Post says Sgt. Clive Higgins' deadline to accept a plea deal has come and gone.

They say law enforcement and court sources expect Higgins to be indicted by a federal grand jury and face trial.

Two other officers already pleaded guilty to charges for their role in the incident.

The video was recorded on May 20, 2011.
