Fairfield celebrated 375th anniversary with Family Fun Fest
The Town of Fairfield celebrated the 375th anniversary of its founding Saturday with the first Family Fun Fest at the Town Hall Green and Museum Campus.
The festival featured live music, food trucks and a beer garden.
The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce joined forces with the town and the Fairfield Museum and History Center to offer guests crafts and local shopping.
Guests also got a glimpse into the town's past with historical reenactments.
The Chamber of Commerce says the event hosted 12 food vendors and 45 merchants from throughout the state.
