Police: Norwalk father let 12-year-son drive car ahead of crash into house

A Norwalk father was arrested for allegedly letting his 12-year-old son drive his car.

Police say Giuseppe Manugus was letting his son go forward and backward in their driveway on College Street Saturday to teach him how to drive.

The boy allegedly accelerated while in reverse and went flying across the street. The car crashed into a house. No one was hurt in the accident.

Manugus is due in court Friday.
