Milford gas station assault victim Jehan Zeb details shooting

The gas station employee injured during an alleged attempted robbery earlier this week in Milford spoke with News 12 Connecticut about the incident.
Jehan Zeb was working at the Quick Food Mart Monday night when police say an armed suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money.
"I am very worried, very worried because this is the first time in my life I've seen a pistol," says Zeb, who was afraid the suspect was going to kill him.
Zeb says he tried offering the suspect money numerous times, but the suspect shot him in the leg. Zeb then charged the suspect and grabbed his gun away before the suspect fled.
Zeb was hospitalized after the shooting but has since been released. Police continue to search for the suspect.
